Once more Copat proves his efforts for the environment, using the Ecological Water-repellent Panel "IDROLEB" for the carcasses of the kitchens.

Certificate of Excellence Copat obtained the certificate of excellence on 31 July, 2009 for the management system regulated by ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 norms.
The achieved excellence certifies the commitment the company has shown for years in the area of quality, environment, as well as the health and safety of its workers.

Copat SpA obtained the certification for its “Management System of Health, Safety and Personnel” in compliance with the OHSAS 18001 norm. This norm requires continuous respect of laws and regulations regarding health, safety and hygiene in the workplace. Copat is making a commitment through OHSAS 18001 to progressively reduce health and safety risks for personnel by means of modern infrastructures, technologically advanced machinery, continuous education and involvement of all staff.
Copat SpA will integrate its management system through OHSAS 18001 quality and efficiency of products and processes, environmental safeguarding, health and safety protection of personnel, achieving excellence for its Integrated Management System.

Copat SpA is the first Italian furniture manufacturer to be EMAS registered. EMAS (Eco-Management and Audit Scheme) is the European Community regulation defined in 2001 concerning the voluntary compliance of a company or public body to a community system of ecological management and auditing. For Copat SpA, introducing and maintaining the Environmental Management System in compliance with the EMAS regulation requirements has meant reorganising and conducting its activities so as to minimise, by means of gradual but continuous efforts in the course of time, its impact on the environment. Furthermore, it has also allowed the Company to publicly announce its “performances” by means of an Environmental Declaration that contains all the enviromental information, as well as forecasts for short – medium term improvements.
Registration n° 000764 obtained in 2007 for Copat Spa is the rightful international acknowledgement for the results reached in terms of environmental protection and sustainability of industrial development.

UNI EN ISO 14001
Copat SpA obtained in 2003 the “Environmental Management System Certification” in compliance with the ISO 14001 standard. With this certification, Copat SpA’s commitment to the continuous respect of law prescriptions and regulations applied to products, environmental protection, safety and hygiene in the workplace was acknowledged.
The progressive reduction of recyclable waste, continuous research into system and technological solutions to optimise consumptions of natural resources (fuels, etc.) and preference towards suppliers that have a respectful behaviour towards the environment, are all continuously checked and monitored by Copat SpA by means of periodical revisions that result in a constant definition of new and more ambitious targets.

UNI EN ISO 9001
In 1996 Copat SpA obtained the “Company Management System for Quality Certification” according to the ISO 9001. The 9001 standard regards the entire company process, from the design phase to after-sales assistance. The certification obtained by Copat SpA shows the company’s reliability because it is managed according to the organizational principles of the ISO 9001 regulation, focused mainly on customer satisfaction. Copat SpA guarantees its customers the respect of the requirements established by the standard through continuous improvement of the company processes and works closely with suppliers on researching products and services that are increasingly more reliable and innovative.
